Benguerra Island

Spend a week in paradise and stay at Azura Retreats on Benguerra Island. The Bazaruto Archipelago is an idyllic string of islands off Mozambique’s coast, renowned for turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and vibrant marine life, making it the perfect place for both relaxation and adventure.

Benguerra Island is one of the beautiful islands, and it is a great base for those wanting to explore the marine life. Depending on the season, spend boat trips watching for humpback whales, whale sharks, dolphins or manta rays. Snorkel or dive in the warm waters, finding vibrant coral and tropical fish. Enjoy paddle boarding on the calm waters and learn about conservation programs that protect the regions nesting turtles and biodiversity. Visit the towering sand dunes on Bazaruto Island and horse ride across golden beaches.

Azura Retreats offers a luxurious stay, and an escape from everyday life. Enjoy delicious meals under the stars, pampering spa treatments and relaxing days spent on your private sun deck.
