Over six nights, this itinerary combines the glamour of Dubai and its beaches with the magic of the desert. 

Spend five nights at One&Only Royal Mirage The Palace, a luxurious beachfront resort that combines Arabian elegance with impeccable service and premium facilities. From its extensive landscaped gardens to its prime spot along Jumeirah Beach, it is the ideal base for relaxing while still in close proximity to Dubai’s world-class shopping, dining, and attractions. 

After days in the cosmopolitan city, the journey continues with an unforgettable overnight stay at Amar Luxury Desert Lodge. Here, you’ll experience a more serene side of Dubai, with stylish tented suites, authentic local cuisine, and sweeping views of the endless dunes.

Day 01

Arrive in Dubai.  Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for the next five nights, One&Only Royal Mirage The Palace. 

Day 02

Spend the day relaxing at the resort. Set within 65 acres of mature, manicured gardens, the resort feels like a haven amongst the bustling city. 

Day 03

This morning, join a local guide for a private walking tour that explores the city's striking, futuristic urban development while you learn about how Dubai has fostered its reputation as the artistic hub of the region.

Day 04

After a day at leisure, spend the evening at the home of Asma, a warm and welcoming Emirati host who invites guests into her home for a delicious homemade Emirati meal. While you dine on local delicacies, Asma will share insights into local life and traditions, as well as details on traditional essences, homemade perfumes and their production.

Day 05

Enjoy a day at leisure. You can explore independently, either indulging in a spot of shopping at the city's famous malls or visiting the historic neighbourhood, Al Seef. 

Day 06

This afternoon, travel into the desert for an overnight stay at Amar Luxury Desert Lodge. Nestled deep in the endless desert, the lodge offers a Bedouin-inspired experience. Enjoy a gourmet Arabian dinner accompanied by live traditional music.

Day 07

After a memorable stay in the desert, you will be transferred back to the airport to begin your journey home.

How far in advance should I book a holiday?

Whether you’re planning a special milestone trip years in advance or seeking a spontaneous last-minute escape, we can help shape it at any stage. That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
