Day 01

After arriving in Sri Lanka, transfer to Wallawwa, near Colombo airport, to stay for one night. Recover from your flight surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

Day 02

Transfer to Water Garden Sigiriya, your base to explore Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. Spend the afternoon exploring the striking Sigiriya rock. Climb to the top for beautiful views and hear tales of the ancient, abandoned palace while exploring the remaining ruins.

Day 03

The Cultural Triangle is rich in history that stretches back thousands of years, with competing dynasties and impressive rulers competing in the area. Today, visit the ancient towns of Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura. Both UNESCO sites were the capital cities of ancient Sri Lankan civilisation and have well preserved, impressive ruins.

Day 04

After checking out from your hotel, travel to Kandy. En route visit the historic Dambulla caves, which are home to Buddhist Rock Temples which are part of a sacred site that has drawn pilgrims for over 20 centuries. At Kandy, stay at one of Sri Lanka’s original boutique hotels; The Kandy House.

Day 05

Spend the day exploring the bustling city of Kandy before returning to your historic hotel for dinner on the tranquil terrace.

Day 06

Travel on Sri Lanka’s iconic railway and continue on to the Hill Country. Pass through rolling hills covered in lush vegetation and travel over the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. Check in to Goatfell, a boutique hotel set within a restored tea managers bungalow.

Day 07

Explore the tea plantations surrounding Goatfell. There are plenty of hiking routes throughout the area or learn about the production of Sri Lankan tea at a nearby tea factory.

Day 08

After checking out from Goatfell, travel south towards the coast and continue to the historic town, Galle. Stay at the beautiful Fort Bazaar, a contemporary boutique hotel set within a restored merchant's house.

Day 09

Explore Galle Fort. Walk the fortified walls and uncover historic architecture at every turn while ambling through the lanes within the fort.

Day 10

Spend your final day relaxing on the beaches around Galle or catch a cricket match at the picturesque Galle Cricket Stadium.

Day 11

After an unforgettable trip, exploring the diverse attractions across Sri Lanka, return to the airport to begin your journey home.
