Day 01

After flying to Dar es Salaam, fly to Siwandu Airstrip and continue to the first camp, Laba Siwandu Camp. The beautiful, tented, camp is set on the banks of Lake Nzerakera.

Day 02 - 03

Explore Nyerere National Park. Guests at Laba Siwandu enjoy a private vehicle, ensuring you can tailor your game drives. Alongside game drives, Laba Siwandu also offers walking safaris and boat safaris, allowing for unique and diverse wildlife sightings.

Day 04

Fly to Ruaha National Park and travel to Ikuka Safari Camp. Set a top the Ikuka escarpment, the camp enjoys sweeping views across Ruaha National Park and Mwagusi River.

Day 05 - 06

The expert team at Ikuka Safari Camp ensure game drives from the camp are memorable. Explore rocky hills and rolling savannah, finding big cats, African wild dogs and large herds of peaceful elephants. Ruaha National Park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, and provides an exceptional experience for both first time and experienced safari goers.

Day 07

Head to Zanzibar to relax and recharge. Stay at Zuri Zanzibar, a boutique resort set alongside a powdery soft beach.

Day 08 - 09

Visit the hotel’s spa for a pampering treatment, snorkel in Zanzibar’s clear waters and dine on fresh seafood.

Day 10

After an unforgettable trip, bid farewell to Zanzibar and travel home.

That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
