Beyond Our Core Destinations

Over the years, we have met and connected with travel experts across the world. While we like to focus on our core destinations, we still have the ability to help you travel to a host of other destinations.

Utilising the knowledge of our handpicked local experts and partners, we are here to help, whether it is a three week tour across Indochina, taking in intricate temples, unique wildlife and incredibly rich history or some welcome warmth & sunshine in the Caribbean. In the past year, we have sent clients far and wide, from Australia, French Polynesia & Bali, to destinations closer to home, including Mallorca, Morocco and Greece.

The start of the year brought a couple of exciting offers and updates, particularly from our friends down under, so we thought it would be a good time to update you on the news beyond our normal reach.

Australia

Our local partners in Australia recently let us know they are able to secure tickets to the Ashes later this year. With test matches held in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, it is the perfect excuse to visit the vast country and explore beyond the cricket grounds.

Securing tickets to test matches is always tricky so we are very excited we have the opportunity to assist any cricket fans. The only requirement to secure tickets using ourlocal partner is to also confirm arrangements in Australia, including an element of flights, transfers or accommodation for the trip.

The Caribbean

Love To Explore’s founder spent many years organising trips to all the corners of the Caribbean, and lived in Antigua while working on yachts throughout the region. In short, he has plenty of knowledge of the area. Whether you are returning to an old favourite hotel to looking to discover a new island, we are able to organise trips across 18 different Caribbean islands, from the Bahamas and Jamaica to St Barts & Turks and Caicos.

At the moment one of our firm favourites; Calabash in Antigua, still has pockets of availability throughout February and March. The Caribbean is a great destination for winter sunshine; travelling in February and March is considered to be the best time to visit.

Europe

It feels a long way off at the moment, but the European summer is just around the corner. We know that sometimes you need a long weekend break to relax, and in those instances, it just isn't practical to travel further afield to the Indian Ocean or the Middle East.

With contacts at some of the best hotels across Europe, we are on hand to help with short breaks and longer stays throughout the Balearics, Portugal, Greece and beyond.

South East Asia

We currently have clients travelling through South East Asia, on an incredible trip through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos. They are the first of a handful of clients visiting South East Asia with us this year, with the help of our exceptional local partners.

With years of experience curating trips through South East Asia, they are able to organise trips to the vast majority of the region, including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Laos. With in-country specialists and a dedicated 'multi-country' team, you are well taken care of at every turn for the smoothest of experiences.

Uganda

Our lovely East African local partners, Asilia Africa, are opening a new lodge in Uganda in 2026. To celebrate, if you book before 28th February 2025 they will include one free gorilla trekking permit per person per stay. This is a saving of $800 per permit.

Erebero Hills is set on the northern fringe of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with sweeping views of the forest from the lodge. It is set to be a luxurious, stylish lodge that is perfectly positioned for guests looking to experience gorilla trekking. Besides trekking, guests will also be able to visit a local Batwa community, enjoy tea tasting and nature walks or simply relax beside the pool or recover from trekking with a restorative in-room massage.

Pacific Islands

If you are looking for idyllic, tropical islands with clear waters and fantastic snorkelling,  the Pacific islands are one of the most iconic places to visit.  With local partners that cover New Zealand, French Polynesia and Fiji, we are able to organise unforgettable trips to the area.

French Polynesia is a particularly special destination - perfect for longer trips that include island hopping or a relaxing beach stay after a few weeks spent touring New Zealand. Flying to French Polynesia and Fiji can take over 24 hours from the UK, so we recommend taking your time in the region and spending a few weeks taking in each island and their individual characters.
