Atlantis The Royal, is an ultra-luxury resort, set along the Palm Jumeirah. With a prime location along the edge of the Palm, the hotel has incredible views, either across the Palm and Dubai’s skyline or towards the Arabian Sea.
The resort is large, to say the least, with over 750 rooms and suites and 90 pools in total when you include the numerous pool suites. The resort also features an extensive wellness centre and 17 restaurants and bars, including 8 by celebrity chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Nobu Matsuhisa.
Rooms and suites at the hotel are light-filled and elegant, with luxurious touches, modern technology and stylish contemporary décor. Guests can choose from either palm-scape or seascape view – both are beautiful views but the palm-scape views tend to be most popular.

That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
