Jack’s Camp, located in the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, is an iconic safari camp offering a unique and luxurious experience in one of Africa’s most otherworldly landscapes. Established in the 1960s, the camp is steeped in history and blends vintage safari charm with modern elegance.
The camp features ten tents styled in a 1940s safari aesthetic, complete with Persian rugs, antique furniture, and four-poster beds. Each tent includes an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a private veranda overlooking the stark, breathtaking expanse of the pans. The camp’s central area is equally stunning, housing a grand mess tent with a museum, library, and bar. The swimming pool pavilion provides a cool retreat from the desert heat.
