Puku Ridge is set within South Luangwa National Park. The elegant, exclusive lodge takes its name from the puku antelope which can be seen grazing on the surrounding plains. The lodge offers panoramic views of the floodplains, which draw plenty of wildlife for an everchanging sight.
Each of the eight suites is thoughtfully positioned to ensure privacy and sweeping views and features a plunge pool, outdoor shower, and private deck for uninterrupted wildlife viewing. Each suite also has a raised tower with a star bed, perfect for those who want the option of sleeping under the stars. Dining at Puku Ridge is an experience in itself, with delicious, fresh meals, based around local ingredients and meals are often served on the open-air viewing platform, which is starlit at night and enjoys views across the waterhole during the day.
Puku Ridge is well located in the South Luangwa which is known for its high concentrations of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. The guiding team at Puku Ridge are excellent and experienced at ensuring guests encounter varied and exciting sightings during game drives and walking safaris. There is also a photographic hide at Puku Ridge, located below the lodge’s main deck, with a prime view of a thriving watering hole.
