Perched high on the Oloololo Escarpment, Agamama Mara has an incredible setting. With sweeping views from 1,000ft above the Masai Mara plains, the views from every corner of the lodge are captivating. The lodge has 30 luxurious tented suites, set across two separate but identical camps. Each tented suite features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and spacious private decks to make the most of the impressive views alongside contemporary, luxurious touches including a super king-sized bed and personalised drinks cabinet. Angama Mara is well located for wildlife viewing, with game drives spent in the Mara Triangle, an area rich in wildlife and relatively quiet compared to many parts of the Mara. Meals are often served on the camp’s terrace to make the most of the views, with delicious meals featuring seasonal produce, plenty of which is grown onsite in their gardens. Whether you’re planning a special milestone trip years in advance or seeking a spontaneous last-minute escape, we can help shape it at any stage. That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
