Borana Lodge is a family owned lodge, set within a 32,000 acre private conservancy on the Laikipia Plateau. The lodge is perched on a hillside, with sweeping views across the conservancy, compromising eight cottages and the main house. Each cottage is slightly different from the other, with rustic interiors, fantastic views and private verandas. The lodge offers two common areas, both of which enjoy fantastic views and space for guests to relax, whether this is at the refreshing infinity pool or the inviting lounge and bar areas. The variety of experiences offered at Borana Lodge makes your stay particularly special. Whether you’re planning a special milestone trip years in advance or seeking a spontaneous last-minute escape, we can help shape it at any stage. That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
