Love To Explore Rating: Economy

Bush Rover Migration Camp is set in the Serengeti National Park. The innovative camp features six suites, each crafted from a fully functional Land Rover that transforms into a two-story accommodation. Each suite has an elevated bedroom with a balcony that provides panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness, and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, flush toilet, and even a bathtub, all powered by solar energy.

The camp relocates, following the Great Wildebeest Migration, ensuring guests are always at the centre of the Serengeti’s wildlife action, witnessing dramatic river crossings and predator interactions. The camp sets up in prime positions throughout the year: the Grumeti River in the west (June to mid-July), to the Mara River in the north (mid-July to October), and finally to the southern plains of Kusini during the calving season (December to March).

Bush Rovers Migration Camp is operated by A Tent with a View, which is focused on providing authentic safari experiences which benefit conservation and community programmes. They support a number of projects centred around the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

At Love To Explore, we would recommend the resort for these unique selling points:

  • Unique tented suites
  • Follows the Great Wildebeest Migration throughout the year
  • Sustainable tourism

“A unique and innovative camp that offers an elevated tented camp experience.”
