Cottar's 1920s Camp embodies the essence of classic safari, and is almost 100 years old. Originally established by the current owner's grandfather, Cottar’s continues to focus on ensuring guests have an authentic safari experience within the 7,600 acre private conservancy while supporting ongoing conservation efforts and community projects. The guides at Cottar’s are excellent, some of whom have been at the camp for decades, with a number of Gold and Silver Level KPPA guides which are the highest levels awarded in Kenya. Interiors at the camp are inspired by the golden era of exploration, with luxurious accommodations in eleven spacious tented suites, each adorned with vintage furnishings and modern comforts.
