Set within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia County, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is a relaxed camp. With views over the Ol Pejeta Plains and the Ewaso Ngiro River, the camp has a central mess tent and campfire, as well as 7 tented suites. Each tent features an ensuite with a hot water bucket shower and a spacious deck. On cooler nights, guests will find comfortable beds swathed in extra blankets and a hot water bottle warming the bed at turndown. Meals at the camp are served communally, with locally sourced ingredients. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is well known for being home to both black and white rhino, as well as other members of the Big 5 wildlife and endangered animals such as wild dog, Grevy’s zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest. Besides game drives, guests can meet the two last remaining Northern White Rhino, who are in a protected enclosure with 24/7 armed guards, and learn about the work to protect these rhino and the other endangered species in the area.
