Simply Saadani Camp, is set in Saadani National Park, the only national park in East Africa that borders the Indian Ocean. The unique destination allows guests to enjoy relaxing on the peaceful beach, as well as embark on safari excursions.
There are nine eco-friendly, thatched tented rooms elevated on wooden platforms amidst coconut groves. Each room has a private terrace with a hammock – the perfect place to relax and take in views of the Indian Ocean. The rooms are all solar-powered to minimise environmental impact.
The on-site restaurant serves fresh seafood and local dishes, and the camp also has a well-stocked bar. In the evenings, guests can enjoy stargazing under the unpolluted night sky with a nightcap.
There is a variety of activities available during a stay at Simply Saadani Camp, including game drives, boat safaris and bush walks. Wildlife that guests can expect to see includes an impressive variety of birdlife, elephants, lions, giraffes and hippo.

That said, for the best choice of boutique lodges and the most sought-after properties, we recommend beginning the planning process around nine months to a year ahead, allowing the widest possible access to availability and experiences. For certain safari lodges and iconic seasonal moments, such as Japan’s cherry blossom season, we would advise planning up to two years in advance.
